The Boise State women’s golf team will open their fall season tomorrow when they compete in the Colonel Wollenberg Ptarmigan Ram Classic on Monday, Sept. 12 and Tuesday, Sept. 13 in Fort Collins, Colo. The Broncos will play two rounds on Monday followed by the final 18 on Tuesday morning.

The first round will begin at 8 a.m. (MT) on Monday morning with the second round going off shortly after in the early afternoon. The third and final round is scheduled for 8 a.m. (MT) Tuesday morning.

FIELD (17 Teams): Boise State, BYU, UC Irvine, Colorado State, Fresno State, Gonzaga, Hawai’I, Indiana, Long Beach State, Nebraska, Nevada, Northern Colorado, Oregon State, Portland State, San Francisco, San Jose State and Wyoming.

THE COURSE: Ptarmigan Country Club (6,364 Yards | Par 72)

Ptarmigan Country Club golf course was designed in 1979 by the legendary Jack Nicklaus to accent the dramatic vista of the Rocky Mountains. The course features 97 sand traps, lush bent-grass greens, four different tee boxes on every hole, rolling topography, and 100 feet of elevation change from south to north.

Boise State will begin round one on holes 4-6 in what will be a shotgun start.

1. Genevieve Ling (Senior | Selangor, Malaysia) – Ling is coming off a historic 2015-16 season where she averaged a 74.79 through 29 rounds, good for the fourth-lowest average in school history. Last season also saw her record seven top-25 finishes, tied for the fifth-most in Boise State single-season history.

2. Jalayne Martinez (Freshman | Pasco, Wash.) – Martinez comes to Boise State after recently winning the 2016 WIAA 4A State Championship, firing rounds of 69 and 73. She also was a two-time winner of The Dropping Championship (2015-16), the most prestigious junior tournament in Idaho.

3. Dana Clary (Senior | Cedar Park, Texas) – Clary made three tournament appearances on the season, averaging 77.89 through nine rounds. One of three seniors on the team, Clary shot a 1-over 73 last year at the Ptarmigan Ram Classic, her best round of the fall.

4. Kinsley Bonfilio (Sophomore | Boise, Idaho) – Bonfilio enters the 2016 fall season having competed in three tournaments last season, averaging a 81.75. She picked up a top-25 finish last season, taking 19th at the Santa Clara Colby Invitational.

5. Oceane Pelloille (Senior | Paris, France) – Pelloille made four tournament appearances last season and averaged an 80.42 through 12 rounds. She logged a top-10 finish at the Santa Clara Colby Invitational, firing a 237 (82-78-81).

LAST YEAR AT RAM CLASSIC: The Broncos took fifth place at last year’s Ram Classic, carding rounds of 292-298-302 to finish with a 28-over 892. Ling finished in the top 25, firing a pair of 1-under 71’s in the first and second rounds. Graduated senior Samantha Martin paced Boise State, taking 15th place thanks to a 6-over 222 (71-78-73).
