Trio Named All-American Scholars
July 12, 2016

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Three members of the Boise State women’s golf team – senior Sammie Pless, junior Genevieve Ling and freshman Adara Pauluhn – were named All-American Scholars, the Women’s Golf Coaches Association announced recently.

To be named an All-American Scholar, golfers must maintain a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 and compete in at least 50 percent of the team’s competitions.

Boise State’s three honorees tied with Wyoming for the third-most in the Mountain West, trailing New Mexico and Nevada, which each had four.

Pless, who concluded her Bronco career in 2015-16, garnered the accolade in each of her four seasons as a Bronco, while Ling has been named an All-American Scholar in each of her three collegiate campaigns.

Earlier this year the Broncos received a third-straight Public Recognition Award from the NCAA for having a multi-year Academic Progress Rate (APR) score in the top-10 percent of women’s golf teams nationally.
