► What’s Happening
Boise State University’s women’s golf team is off to Texas for the Baylor Invitational in Waco. This week’s competition features a 16-team field and will be staged Monday through Tuesday at Twin Rivers Golf Club. This is the last regular season event for the Broncos before the Western Athletic Conference Championship.

► Baylor Invitational Tournament Format
The format for this tournament calls for three rounds of stroke play conducted over two days. The first 36 holes will be played on Monday, April 12, followed by the final 18 on Tuesday. The competition will begin each day by shotgun start at 7:30 a.m. (Mountain).

► The Host Course
This event is being held at Twin Rivers Golf Club in Waco, Texas. For this competition the club will feature a 6,394 yard course for a par 72.

► The Field
Overall the field features 14 NCAA Division I institutions, the top-ranked NAIA school and one junior college. Boise State is the only WAC member competing in this year’s field which includes four top-60 teams according to Golf Stat’s April 7th national rankings.  The institutions participating with the Broncos this week include: the host school No. 53 Baylor, Kansas State, McLennan CC, North Texas, Oklahoma, NAIA No. 1 Oklahoma City, No. 58 Oral Roberts, No. 33 Oregon, SMU (Southern Methodist), Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Texas State, No. 47 Texas Tech,  UALR (Arkansas-Little Rock), UTSA (Texas-San Antonio), Wichita State.  Over 80 collegiate athletes will compete for the team and individual titles.

► Boise State’s Tournament Roster
Leading the Boise State lineup this week will be freshman Hayley Young playing at the number one position. Classmate Lori Harper will follow as the number two player, senior Iris Ocariza will open at the three, followed by freshman Jennifer Henningsson at the four and sophomore Maria Santisteban at the five.
