WOMEN GOLFERS COMPLETE MOUNTAIN VIEW COLLEGIATE INVITATIONAL IN 17TH PLACE

 

            TUCSON, Arizona The Boise State University women’s golf team completed the Mountain View Collegiate Invitational on Sunday (March 30) with a team score of 939 to place 17th.

            Leading the Bronco women was senior Nikki Olson.  After firing rounds of 73 and 74 on Saturday (March 29) for a 147 score, just one shot off the Bronco 36-hole record of 146, Olson posted a five over score of 77 on Sunday to finish with a 224 total and a tie for 20th place.

            Lauren Harling of Indiana University won medalist honors with a 215 score, and helped the Hoosiers to the team title with an 880 total.

            Other Broncos posting 54-hole scores on Sunday were Iris Ocariza with a 230 score to tie for 51st, Minhee Park with a 242 total to tie for 87th, and Amanda Nave who finished in 90th place with a score of 250.

            The Bronco women are back in action April 7 and 8 (Monday and Tuesday) at the Canes & Cardinal Classic in Miami, Florida.
