Bronco Women Finish Day One at Anteater Invite

DOVE CANYON, Calif. – The Boise State women’s golf team completed the first day of the three-round Anteater Invitational Monday, with junior Lori Harper leading the way for the Broncos.

Harper posted a 36-hole total of 163 (+21) at the par-71, 5,911-yard Dove Canyon Country Club, and will enter Tuesday’s final round tied for 57th.

The Broncos are in 15th as a team following a day-one score of 667 (+99).

Rounding out the Bronco contingent were junior Hayley Young and redshirt junior Michelle Gooding, who posted two-round totals of 168 (+26), and seniors Maria Santisteban and Katie Somers, who recorded scores of 172 (+30).

The final round of the Anteater Invitational is scheduled to begin with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. (MT).
