SDSU Farms Invitational Next for Broncos

BOISE, Idaho - The Boise State women's golf team will travel to San Diego for the San Diego State University Farms Invitational March 23-25 (Monday-Wednesday), a four-round match-play tournament that will include some of the nation's top teams.

Following 18 holes of stroke play on Monday, the field will be split into two eight-team brackets - championship and consolation. The teams will then play two rounds of match play on Tuesday, and a final round of match play on Wednesday.

Six of the nation's top 25 teams will be joining Boise State in the field: Oklahoma State (13), Tennessee (15), UNLV (18), Pepperdine (19), Arizona State (22) and San Diego State (24). Also competing will be California (36), Colorado (40), Houston (49), Kansas (52), Long Beach State (65), Michigan (80), Nevada (104), New Mexico (122) and UC Irvine (146).

Boise State enters the tournament ranked 73rd by Golfstat, and will be seeded No. 12 entering Monday's round of stroke play.

The schools will be competing at The Farms Golf Club, which will play at par 72 and 6,237 yards. Tee times are scheduled off the front and back nines Monday beginning at 8:45 a.m. MT.

The Broncos are coming off a third-place finish at the Entrada Classic earlier this week. Boise State was the only school in the field to place each of its golfers inside the top 25, including Ling, who finished seventh, and Martin, who finished tied for eighth.
