The Broncos stood tied for ninth place after the first round with an 18-over, 306, and followed it up with a 15-over, 303, in the final round to move into sole possession of eighth place.
Mandi Hedberg recorded two birdies on the day as she posted a 149 (+5) at the tournament to finish tied for 13th. Hedberg recorded a birdie on hole No. 8 to finish the back-nine at even-par. For the tournament, Hedberg registered five birdies to lead the Broncos. This was the fourth top 25 finish in six tournaments for Hedberg this season.
Sophomore Iris Ocariza finished the Kitahara Invitational tied for 20th place with a 6-over, 150. Ocariza was consistent throughout the second day of competition as she eliminated two strokes from her first round score to post a 74 (+2). She also registered eighth straight holes of even-par between holes No. 6-13. This was her third top 25 finish this season and eighth of her career. She needs just one more top 25 finish to move into 10th place on the Broncos all-time list.
Nikki Olson posted a 153 (+9) to finish the tournament tied for 34th place. Olson registered a 76 (+4) in the first round and a 77 (+5) in the second to earn a qualifying score for the Broncos. During the Kitahara Invitational she posted three birdies, all on the back-nine.
Lindsey Shean finished the tournament tied for 46th place with a 13-over, 157. She posted an 80 (+8) in the first round and a 77 (+5) in the second. Shean posted her only birdie of the tournament on hole No. 7.
