LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The Boise State women’s golf team moved up another spot in the third and final round of the New Mexico State Aggie Invitational, finishing in sixth place (323-312-312 = 947). The Broncos recorded another 312 on Wednesday afternoon as senior Dana Clary (83-77-76 = 236) guided the team and tied for 28th place individually.

Clary’s 4-over 76 in the third round was her lowest score of the week. She fired 38’s on both sides in what was a consistent day for the Cedar Park, Texas native.

Freshman Valentine Lacaze also posted a 76, good for her lowest round of the week. She tied for 33rd thanks to a 239 (84-79-76).

Freshman Jalayne Martinez contributed the third Bronco score with a 79. She took 54th (85-88-79 = 252).

Senior Genevieve Ling (78-78-81 = 237) chipped in an 81 in the last round, taking 30th place. She now has placed in the top 35 of all three fall tournaments this season.

Sophomore Adara Pauluhn posted an 82 in the final round, but still enjoyed a nice week and tied for 31st with a 238 (78-78-82).

All in all, the Broncos rallied after a tough first 18 and improved in the second and third rounds, jumping four teams to take sixth place.

The team will conclude the fall season at the Lady Mustang Invitational in San Luis Obispo, Calif., at Cypress Ridge Golf Course from Oct. 22-23.
