AURORA, Ore. - Sophomore Dana Clary led the Boise State women's golf team on the opening day of the Rose City Collegiate, concluding the first two rounds in a tie for 11th, Monday.

Clary followed an opening-round 76 (+4) with a 1-over 73, finishing with a 36-hole total of 149 (+5) at the 6,080-yard Langdon Farms Golf Club. Clary finds herself just one stroke back of notching her second-straight top-10 finish entering the final round.

She finished tied for ninth at the Oregon State Invitational two weeks ago, the best finish of her career.

Junior Sammie Pless will also enter the final round in the top 25 after carding rounds of 73-78, concluding the day tied for 21st at 151 (+7). She was tied for fifth following an opening-round 73 (+1)

Sophomore Genevieve Ling (75-78--153, +9) is just one stroke back of the top 25, and Samantha Martin (74-80--154, +10) is just two back. Junior McKenzie Ford rounded out the scoring with a 158 (74-84, +14).

The Broncos opened the tournament with an 8-over 296, and were tied for second place just one stroke back of San Francisco. A 309 (+21) in the second round dropped the team to sixth however, and Boise State will enter Tuesday's final round seven strokes back of third place. The Broncos hold a one-stroke advantage over seventh-place Oregon State.

Cal State Fullerton leads the tournament at 587 (+11), and the Titans' Tisha Alyn Abrea leads the field with a 2-under 142.

The Broncos will be paired with Portland State and Idaho for Tuesday's final round, and the three teams are scheduled to begin teeing off at 9:50 a.m. MT. Live scoring is available at
