ST. GEORGE, UTAH –
The Boise State women’s golf team saved their best for last at the BYU at Entrada Classic. The team shot 303 in the final round of competition – their lowest score of the weekend – to end with a combined 922 (305-314-303, +58).

The Broncos finished 11th as a team, five strokes behind Mountain West foe Wyoming.

Alejandra Lobelo led the team for the second-consecutive tournament, shooting 6-over on the weekend behind rounds of 72-74-76 (222). Lobelo’s 11 birdies was good for tied for fourth in the field, as she finished tied for 17th.

Nicole Suppelsa and Lexi Perry were second and third on the team, as Boise State was led by its three freshmen. Suppelsa finished in a tie for 40th with rounds of 74-80-76 (230, +14), while Perry (78-77-76 – 231, +15) was a stroke behind in a tie for 43rd.

Kinsley Bonfilio (81-83-75 – 239, +23) and Valentine Lacaze (85-83-79 – 247, +31) rounded out the scoring for Boise State as both shot their lowest round of the tournament on Tuesday.

The Broncos will return to action next weekend at the Red Rocks Invitational, March 24-25.
