Lobelo Leads the Way in Utah

ST. GEORGE, Utah –
Alejandra Lobelo concluded the opening day of the BYU at Entrada Classic in the top 25 to lead the Boise State women’s golf team, Monday.

Lobelo shot 146 (72-74, +2) on the day to finish in a tie for 15th. The freshman’s 10 birdies are also second in the field.

The Broncos are in a tie for 11th at 619 (305-314, +46) entering Tuesday’s final round.

Fellow freshman Nicole Suppelsa and Lexi Perry are behind Lobelo on the leaderboard. Suppelsa shot 154 (74-80, +10) and is in a tie for 41st. Perry is a stroke behind in a tie for 45th, rising five spots up the leaderboard in the second round at 155 (78-77, +11).

Kinsley Bonfilio (81-83 – 164, +20) and Valentine Lacaze (85-83 – 168, +24) round of the scoring for the Broncos.

 The third round of the BYU-hosted tournament will begin Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. (MT).
