SEDONA, Ariz. – The Broncos (295-301-305 = 901, +37) finished strong at the Red Rocks Invitational in Sedona, Ariz., on Sunday morning and ended up taking fourth place as a team, giving them their best finish of the year. Genevieve Ling (69-69-77 = 215) tied for second place individually, wrapping up the three rounds at 1-under par. The 215 is tied for the fifth-best 54-hole total in Boise State history and is also the senior's lowest 54-hole score of her career.

Ling had previously posted even-par 216s on two separate occasions in the 2014-15 season, but now she joins Samantha Martin, Hayley Young and McKenzie Ford as the only individuals in school history to finish a 54-hole tournament under par.

Fellow senior Dana Clary (73-75-72 = 220) also was outstanding, tying for sixth place to give her the best finish of her Bronco career. Clary used an even-par 72 – the second-lowest round of her career – in the final round to cement her first top-10 finish of the season.

"I was proud of the way we competed this weekend," head coach Nicole Bird said. "The two top-10 finishes from Gen and Dana was great to see. We're excited to use this tournament as a springboard for the rest of our season."

Jalayne Martinez (76-79-79 = 234) took 39th and was steady all week, posting the lowest 54-hole total of her young Bronco career.

Adara Pauluhn (87-78-77 = 242) played her best round on Sunday and chipped in a 5-over 77, tying for 51st place. Kinsley Bonfilio (77-82-87 = 246) finished in 60th.

Boise State will play again on March 13-14 at the Entrada Classic in St. George, Utah.
