Lexi Perry Tied For Seventh at Gold Rush

LONG BEACH, Calif. - Boise State’s Lexi Perry fired a two-round score of 148 (+4) to finished day one of The Gold Rush in a four-way tie for seventh-place. Boise State opened the spring season today at The Gold Rush hosted by Long Beach State at the El Dorado Golf Course in Long Beach.

Boise State began the day shooting a combined score of 305 on the first 18, then followed with a 314 on the second round to finish the day at 619 (+43) in 10th out of 15 teams.

Perry tallied a 73 one-over par in the first round this morning then followed with a 3-over 75 on the second 18 moving up one spot on the leaderboard. Perry recorded five below-par holes in addition to 23 at par during the 36 played on the day.

Nicole Suppelsa was second on the team Monday after tallying a two-round score of 152 for a 8-over par to sit in tie for 28th. The freshman from Rolling Hills Estates, Calif., shot a two-over 74 during the first round on 6,189-yard course.

Ivane Helias (79-83 − 162, +18), Jalayne Martinez (84-78 − 162, +18) and Alejandra Lobelo (79-84 − 163, +19) rounded out the scoring on Monday for Boise State.

The third and final round will be play Tuesday morning with live scoring provided by GolfStat.com.
