Boise State (6-3) has one game on the docket this week when it host Sacramento State (3-7) out of the Big Sky Conference in a Saturday afternoon matinee in Taco Bell Arena, tip is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. (Mountain).
The Broncos are coming off a split last week losing 80-64 to Oregon in Boise Friday night, Dec. 3, then rebounded to defeat Seattle U. 65-57 on the road Sunday, Dec. 5. Boise State is led by Kati Isham averaging 14.4 points per game, she is shooting 46 percent from the floor and 41 percent from the 3-point arc.
Sacramento State enters the game at 3-7 overall. The Hornets lost at Cal State Fullerton 100-74 on Thursday before traveling to Boise for Saturday's encounter. Sac State is coming off a pair of wins last week defeating San Francisco 106-88 at home before winning 78-65 at Santa Clara. Kylie Kuhns, the reigning Big Sky Conference Player of the Week, leads the Hornets averaging a double-double on the year at 18.0 points and 13.4 rebounds per game.

Boise State opened the season with a four-game homestand in which the Broncos went 3-1. That was followed by a three-game road swing where they lost at Pepperdine 82-65, then defeated Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 77-66 and Texas Southern 65-48 on a neutral floor in Fort Collins, Colo.
Last week the Broncos opened the weekend by losing at home to Oregon 80-64 before going on the road to defeat Seattle U. 65-57. Kati Isham led the Broncos in scoring during the week averaging 18.5 points per game, Janie Bos averaged a double-double on 15.5 points and 13.5 rebounds per game.

With the win Presnell became the 71st member of the NCAA's 500 Win Club with a career mark of 500-189 accumulated over 23 plus years at Seattle Pacific University (18 years) and Boise State University (5+ years).

Offensively, Boise State is averaging 71.2 ppg (4th in WAC) and 40.8 rpg (5th in WAC), while shooting a WAC-best 44.9 percent from the floor, 33.3 percent (3rd in WAC) from the 3-point arc and 68.6 percent (5th in WAC) from the free-throw line. Defensively, they allow 67.1 ppg (5th in WAC) and 38.7 rpg (4th in WAC).

Series History: This is the fourth meeting all-time between the Broncos and Hornets with Boise State leading the series 3-0.
Last Time: It has been three years since the two programs last met on the hardwood. The Broncos won 87-60 in Boise on Dec. 15, 2007 to keep its record a perfect against Sacramento State.
Boise State ran out to an early lead an never looked back. Senior forward Melissa Rima is the only Bronco still with Boise State who played in that contest recording six points and three rebounds. Tasha Harris led a group of four in double-figure scoring with a team-high 19.
Sac State had two players in double-digit points led by Erika Edwards with 12 and team-high seven rebounds. The Hornets have three players back from the previous meeting in Tika Koshiyama-Diaz (1 rb, 1 stl), Jasmine Cannady (1 pt, 1 ast) and Emily Christensen (3 pts, 3 rbs, 5 asts).
Boise State vs. Big Sky: Boise State has a long history with the Big Sky Conference as a former member (1988-96). The Broncos are 179-135 all-time versus the current membership. Boise State has four BSC teams on its schedule and one future member. So far the Broncos have defeated Idaho State (73-48), future member Southern Utah (91-80) and Eastern Washington (64-60). Their next game is at Weber State on Dec. 18.

Next Up Boise State is playing one game, versus Sacramento State Saturday, in a 13 day stretch because of finals. Next week the Broncos will close their pre-Christmas schedule with a two-game road trip to the state of Utah.
Boise State will play at Weber State on Saturday, Dec. 18, in Ogden. That contest will be followed by a Monday afternoon matinee the following Monday, Dec. 20, in Orem versus Utah Valley.
The Broncos are a combined 25-22 against the two opponents. They are 21-20 all-time versus the Weber State Wildcats of the Big Sky Conference, and lead 4-2 over the Utah Valley Wolverines from the Great West Conference.
