Lenhardt Named MW Player of the Week
Lenhardt earns fourth player of the week honor of her career.
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -­ Boise State forward Lauren Lenhardt earned Mountain West Women's Basketball Player of the Week honors for games played from Nov. 9-11, 2012.  It is the third MW weekly accolade and the fourth of her career overall.
Lenhardt, a senior from Eagle, Idaho, recorded the sixth double-double of her career with 19 points and 12 rebounds in the Broncos' 80-63 win at Utah Valley.  She was instrumental in BSU's 18-1 first half run that took the Broncos from a two-point deficit to a 15-point lead over UVU.  In the second half, the Wolverines closed to within five before Lenhardt scored six points of a 12-0 run, including the first four, to re-establish the Broncos control of the game.  Lenhardt shot .667 (8-12) from the field, including 1-for-3 from three-point distance, and was a perfect 2-for-2 from the free throw line.  She also contributed three blocked shots and one steal.
