Riley Holsinger Signs NLI for Women's Basketball
Gordy Presnell, Boise State University's head women's basketball coach, announced today the signing of Riley Holsinger to a National Letter of Intent. The 5-9 guard from Spokane, Wash., is the fourth member of this year's recruiting class who will join the team this fall. The addition of Holsinger brings the Boise State roster up to 14 members for the 2011-12 campaign as the Broncos prepare for their first season in the Mountain West Conference.

"We are looking forward to having Riley as a part of the Bronco family," said Presnell.  "She had a terrific high school career and we look forward to her bringing her skills and talents to Boise State."

Holsinger is a 2011 graduate of North Central High School in Spokane, Wash., where she was a two-year starter for the Indians. She helped NCHS to a third-place finish at the Washington 3A state tournament this past winter. Holsinger averaged 15.3 points, 7.7 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 3.0 blocks and 3.8 steals per game as a senior and 13.8 points, 7.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.9 blocks and 3.7 steals as a junior. She is a two-time All-Greater Spokane League (GSL) First Team honoree, as well as earning WIBCA All-State and AP All-State Honorable Mention recognition as a senior. She also attended Lewis and Clark High School in Spokane her freshman and sophomore years helping her teams to a 48-3 overall record. She was a member of the LCHS varsity squad as a sophomore when the team went 28-3 overall and 20-0 in league to win the GSL championship before placing fifth at the 4A state tournament.
