KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The Boise State women's basketball team left the Gem State Thursday for Knoxville, Tenn., and will play Tennessee Saturday in the opening round of the 2015 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament at Thompson-Boling Arena.

Tip between the Broncos and Lady Vols is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. MT, and the game will be televised on ESPN2.

"We are here to compete," head coach Gordy Presnell said in his NCAA Tournament press conference. "Like I said earlier, when you play in the NCAA Tournament you want to play the best and we have the opportunity to play one of the best and certainly one of the best all-time programs. We don't have to be the best team, we just have to be the best team for 40 minutes. We will compete and just see where it goes."
