LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Boise State junior Lauren Lenhardt was named to the 2012 Conoco Mountain West Basketball Championships Women's All-Tournament Team as released by the league office this afternoon. Lenhardt led Boise State into the tournament's semifinal round after the Broncos upset the Colorado State Rams 68-63 in quarterfinals on Wednesday. Boise State later fell to New Mexico 51-50 in the semifinals Friday afternoon.
The Eagle, Idaho, native led the Broncos on the week averaging 18 points, 8.5 rebounds and one block in 34 minutes per game during the two contests. She shot 38.7 percent from the floor, 20 percent from the 3-point arc and went a perfect 11-for-11 from the free-throw line.
Lenhardt recorded team-highs for points and rebounds in each contest. The junior post had 18 points and grabbed seven boards in the quarterfinal against CSU. She followed that performance with a double-double on Friday adding 10 rebounds to her 18 points.
This is the second honor of the postseason that Lenhardt has garnered. She was named to the All-Mountain West Second Team on Monday prior to the start of the tournament.
