Reno TOC on Deck for Bronco Wrestlers
Geordan Martinez ranks as high as 12th nationally this week.

BOISE, Idaho - The Boise State wrestling team will send 19 individuals to the Reno Tournament of Champions, scheduled for Sunday (Dec. 21) at the Reno Events Center in Reno, Nev.

Boise State is one of 22 schools competing at this year's tournament, a list that will also include each of the six teams in the Pac-12.

The tournament is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. MT on 12 mats with the pig tail rounds. The semifinals are scheduled for four mats beginning at 3:45 p.m., and the finals are scheduled on three mats beginning at 7 p.m.

Flowrestling will have a live camera on each of the mats, and live statistics will be available at TrackWrestling.com.

RANKINGS ROUND-UP: The Broncos boast a pair of ranked wrestlers this week, including freshman Geordan Martinez at 141 pounds. Martinez is ranked 12th by The Open Mat, 14th by both Flowrestling and WIN Magazine, 16th by Amateur Wrestling News and 17th by InterMat. Redshirt senior Steven Hernandez (157) is ranked 16th by AWN, 19th by WIN and Flowrestling, and 20th by The Open Mat.
