CKLV Next for Bronco Wrestlers

BOISE, Idaho -- The Boise State wrestling team will travel to Las Vegas for the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational, Friday and Saturday (Dec. 4-5), at the Cashman Center.

The 34th edition of the annual tournament will include 40 schools.

The two-day tournament is scheduled to begin Friday at 10 a.m. MT, with the quarterfinals slated for 7 p.m. Action will resume Saturday at 10 a.m., with semifinal matches scheduled for 11 a.m. and the finals slated for 4 p.m.

Individual and team champions will be crowned at the tournament.

LAST YEAR
The Broncos finished 18th at last year's Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational, with Geordan Martinez posting the team's best individual finish -- fifth at 141 pounds. The Broncos' last champion at the event was Jason Chamberlain, who won at 149 pounds in 2012.

IN THE RANKINGS
Sophomore Geordan Martinez ranked as high as 14th nationally this week (Amateur Wrestling News). Martinez, the Broncos' lone ranked individual, also checked in at No. 18 in InterMat.
