He won the match via a 5-3 decision over Matt Kraus, but the Broncos fell three points shy of earning a team victory, dropping the dual 20-18, Jan. 23, 2015.

The Broncos have lost the last two meetings with Arizona State, the last victory coming Jan. 20, 2013 (33-7), at Taco Bell Arena.

IN THE RANKINGS
Sophomore Geordan Martinez, who made the move to 149 pounds this season after falling one victory shy of All-America honors last year at 141, is the only Bronco in the individual rankings this week. He checks in at No. 15 in the InterMat Rankings, and No. 17 in both The Open Mat and FloWrestling polls.

NEXT WEEK
The Broncos are on the road again next week, with a single dual against Utah Valley in Orem, Utah, Nov. 28 (4 p.m.).
