First Duals on Tap for Broncos

BOISE, Idaho -- The Boise State wrestling team will travel to Hilton Coliseum in Ames, Iowa, for its first duals of the season against Midland and 15th-ranked Iowa State, Thursday.

The tri-dual opens with the Broncos and Warriors at 2:30 p.m. MT, followed by Midland-Iowa State at 4:30 p.m. The Broncos and Cyclones will close out the evening at 6:30 p.m.

The Broncos' dual with Iowa State will be available via Cyclones.tv, and live scoring for each dual will be available at TrackWrestling.com.

Iowa State is coming off a 32-3 road loss at sixth-ranked Virginia Tech, while Midland, an NAIA program, and the Broncos will each be wrestling in their first duals of the season.

Boise State is slated to compete with the following line-up:

Following the duals, the Broncos will remain in Ames for Sunday's Cyclone Open. The tournament will be the Broncos' second of the season.

Last weekend Boise State opened its 2015-16 campaign at the Cowboy Open, where Haddadin finished runner-up at 125 pounds and Dewey finished third at 174.
