            BOISE, Idaho - The first NWCA/USA Today Division I Team Coaches Poll was released on Tuesday (Nov. 11), which ranked the Boise State wrestling team as the eighth best team in the nation to start the season. The NWCA/USA Today Coaches Poll Committee is made up of one coach from each Division I conference.

            Boise State was voted in at No. 8 by receiving 190 points in the poll. Points are awarded for each ranking that a team is given by a voter. A No. 1 ranking is worth 25 points, while a No. 25 ranking is worth 1 point. The University of Iowa was voted the unanimous No. 1 with 275 points.

            The Broncos are 1-0 so far this season following a 40-3 win over the University of Great Falls - Montana in their home opener last Friday (Nov. 6). Boise State is off the mat until Nov. 22 when the Broncos travel to Corvallis, Ore. for a pair of duals against the University of Wisconsin and Oregon State.
