Oct. 9, 2013

BOISE, Idaho - Three Boise State wrestling matches and the Pacific-12 Conference Championships will be televised in 2013-14, the Pac-12 announced recently.

The Broncos' matches at Stanford (Jan. 9) and Arizona State (Jan. 24) will be broadcast on the Pac-12 Network, and the match at Oregon State (Nov. 24) will be broadcast on Pac-12 Oregon, one of the six regional networks that comprise the Pac-12 Networks.

Times for the three matches were adjusted to accommodate the telecasts. Oregon State will begin at noon, Stanford will begin at 5:30 p.m., and Arizona State will begin at 5 p.m. All times are Mountain.

The Pac-12 Championships, held March 2 in Palo Alto, Calif., will also be broadcast on the Pac-12 Network.

The Broncos will hold their first official practice of the 2013-14 season Thursday (Oct. 10).

Boise State returns three wrestlers that competed at the NCAA Championships last year, including redshirt senior Jake Swartz, the two-time defending Pac-12 champion at 184 pounds, senior J.T. Felix and sixth-year senior Brian Owen. Both Felix (285) and Owen (133) finished runner-up at last year's Pac-12 Championships.

Redshirt sophomore Travis Himmelman (141), junior Holden Packard (165) and senior Cody Dixon (197) each finished third at the conference championships last year, and return for the Broncos' 2013-14 campaign.
