SHERFEY AND LEE ELIMINATED FROM NCAA WRESTLING CHAMPIONSHIPS

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. - Boise State University wrestlers Tyler Sherfey and Nate Lee were both eliminated from the 2007 NCAA National Championships on Thursday (March 15) night in the second round of the consolation brackets.

Sherfey, who lost his opening round match and then won his first bout in the consolation bracket, was pined by Michael Chandler of the University of Missouri at the 2:33 mark of the match.

 Lee was eliminated from the tournament when he lost a 5-2 decision Lloyd Rodgers of Tennessee-Chattanooga, also in the second round of the consolation bracket.  Like Sherfey, Lee lost his first round match in the championship bracket before winning his first bout in the consolation bracket. 

 Sherfey and Lee were the only two Bronco wrestlers competing in this year's national championships.
