NCAA to Stream Selection Show for Wrestling Championships

BOISE, Idaho - The Boise State wrestling team will learn if it will receive any at-large bids to the 2011 NCAA Wrestling Championships, Wednesday (March 9), as the national tournament field will be announced via a Web stream selection show at 6 p.m. (EST) on NCAA.com.

Boise State already has seven wrestlers qualified to the NCAA tournament after earning automatic berths at the Pac-10 Conference Championships. Alan Bartelli (125 pounds), Andrew Hochstrasser (133), Levi Jones (141), Jason Chamberlain (149), Adam Hall (157), Kurt Swartz (165) and J.T. Felix (Heavyweight) have already punched their tickets to the NCAA Championships. Jake Swartz (174), Kirk Smith (184 pounds) and Matt Casperson (197) are still hoping to receive at-large selections on Wednesday.

Following the selection show fans are encouraged to tune into Takedown Wrestling's annual NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships Preview Show from 8-11 p.m. (EST).
