Wrestlers to Face ASU for Beauty and the Beast
Jan. 21, 2015

BOISE, Idaho - The Boise State wrestling team will compete side-by-side with the Bronco gymnastics team at Taco Bell Arena Friday (Jan. 23), in this year's edition of Beauty and the Beast. The two teams are slated to begin competing at 7 p.m.

The Bronco wrestlers (2-4, 0-1 Pac-12) will square off against Pacific-12 Conference foe Arizona State (4-3, 0-0 Pac-12), while the gymnasts will face Southern Utah.

For the wrestlers, the dual with the Sun Devils is the first of four-straight at home. Boise State will also host conference rivals Stanford (Feb. 1), Cal Poly (Feb. 5) and CSU Bakersfield (Feb. 6).

A free live stream will be available at BroncoSports.com/videos, and live scoring will be available at TrackWrestling.com.

Boise State was the first school in the country to host such an event, though it has been replicated nationwide.

This is the 13th year the Broncos have held Beauty and the Beast, and Friday will mark the 15th edition of the event. Boise State held two Beauty and the Beast competitions during both 2012-13 and 2013-14.

The wrestlers boast a record of 12-3 all-time at Beauty and the Beast, and the gymnasts are 13-1.
