Wrestlers Head to the Dakotas for Duals

BOISE, Idaho - The Boise State wrestling team is on the road this week for a pair of duals, traveling to face South Dakota State Jan. 16 (Friday) and North Dakota State Jan. 18 (Sunday).

The dual with the Jackrabbits is scheduled for 6 p.m. MT, and the meeting with the Bison is slated to begin at 1 p.m. MT.

The duals close out a three-match road swing for the Broncos, who knocked off Northern Colorado 32-15, Jan. 9.

Friday's dual will be streamed live by South Dakota State. Access to the stream can be purchased at JackrabbitExtra.com. Live scoring will also be available at TrackWrestling.com.

Sunday's dual will be streamed live by North Dakota State. Access to the stream can be purchased at GoBison.com/showcase.

Freshman Geordan Martinez moved up to No. 6 at 141 pounds in both The Open Mat and Amateur Wrestling News Polls this week, his highest ranking all season. Martinez is also ranked No. 7 by WIN Wrestling Magazine, and No. 9 by both Flowrestling and InterMat.

Cody Dixon (197) is ranked No. 19 by WIN Wrestling Magazine.
