Three-Dual Pac-12 Road Swing Awaits Wrestlers

THIS WEEK'S BREAKDOWN: The Boise State wrestling team will embark on a three-match Pac-12 road swing this week, traveling to square off against three conference opponents in four days.

First up for the Broncos is a dual against Stanford, scheduled for Thursday (Jan. 9) at 5:30 p.m. (MT), at Burnham Pavilion. The match will be televised live by the Pac-12 Networks, with Jason Knapp calling play-by-play and Ken Chertow serving as analyst.

Boise State will then square off against CSU Bakersfield Friday (Jan. 10) at 8 p.m. (MT), before closing the road trip at Cal Poly, Sunday (Jan. 12) at 2 p.m. (MT).

PAC-12 PRIMER: Boise State is 1-0 in Pac-12 action this season, having defeated then-No. 6 Oregon State 19-18 in Corvallis, Ore., Nov. 24.

The Broncos enter this week with a streak of six-straight league dual victories, with the last loss coming against the Beavers in Spokane Valley, Wash., Nov. 24, 2012 (21-16).

The Broncos' last road loss in Pac-12 competition came against Cal Poly two years ago, when Boise State fell 22-20, Jan. 8, 2012.

Individually, Felix is ranked fifth by InterMat, sixth by WIN and eighth by AWN; Swartz is ranked seventh, eighth and sixth, respectively; and Castillo is ranked No. 19 by WIN.
