LARAMIE, Wyo. - Boise State redshirt senior wrestler Steven Hernandez finished in third place in the Elite Division at 157 pounds, leading the Broncos at the Cowboy Open, Saturday.

After receiving a first-round bye, Hernandez defeated Wyoming's Robert Stroh via a 5-2 decision before falling to the Cowboys' Archie Colgan in the semifinals (4-1).
