WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.-Boise State men's tennis Head Coach Greg Patton will lead the top American collegiate tennis players at the sixth-annual Master'U BNP Paribas, the USTA announced. Patton will coach a team of three men and three women Dec. 8-11, in Rouen, France.
It is the third-straight year Patton has been selected to coach the U.S. team at the event. The U.S. has qualified for the past four Master'U competitions, and will be joined this year by squads representing Belgium, China, France, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland and Spain.
Patton guided the U.S. team to victory in 2009 and a runner-up finish last year, falling to France in the final. He is joined on the coaching staff by Mark Guilbeau, head women's tennis coach at Virginia, for the second-straight year.
Teams compete head-to-head in a best-of-seven format with two men's and two women's singles matches, one men's and one women's doubles match and one mixed doubles match.
