NEW HAVEN, C.T. - Boise State men’s tennis player Vicente Joli came up a little short in his first round singles match at the ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships at Yale University in New Haven, C.T., Thursday (Nov. 5), which drops him to the consolation bracket of the tournament.
Joli opened singles competition against the tournament’s No. 6 seed, Andrei Daescu of Oklahoma. Despite a hard fought first set, Joli would fall short (7-6 (2), 6-2) to fall from the winner’s bracket. He will continue the weekend in the consolation round of 16 on Friday.
