BOISE, Idaho – Boise State men’s tennis player Vicente Joli will look to build upon an outstanding fall season this weekend (Nov. 5-8) when he travels to New Haven, C.T. to compete against the nation’s best in the ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships at Yale University.
The tournament will be comprised of a 32 player singles field. Competitors earned a spot in the tournament by either winning their regional championship, winning an ITA small college championship, winning the ITA All-American tournament or by receiving an at-large selection. Joli captured the Wilson/ITA Mountain Region Singles Title to earn a trip to the tournament.
Joli enters the weekend with just a 7-4 overall record this fall, but has played outstanding as of late. He has won six consecutive matches, which led to him winning his first regional title.
This weekend’s matches will begin at 9 a.m. on Thursday (Nov. 5), with first round doubles and singles matches being played throughout the day. The tournament will conclude on Sunday with the championship matches.
