WHAT IS HAPPENING


  • Boise State's men's tennis continues the fall schedule this weekend at the Bank of Commerce Invitational hosted by Idaho State University at the Osborn Tennis Center at Capell Park in Chubbuck (adjacent to Pocatello). 


  • This weekend's tournament is a ITA-sanctioned event. 

  • Every player is guaranteed two singles and two doubles matches, weather permitting, with 112 total matches among all eight teams for the tournament.

REPRESENTING BOISE STATE


  • Boise State is sending a contingent of four to participate at the BCI in Pocatello which includes: junior Pedro Platzeck (Sao Paulo, Brazil), sophomore Harvey Shackleton (Hertfordshire, England) and freshmen Tim Heslin (Auckland, New Zealand) and Stefan Lalovic (Las Vegas, Nev.).

THE FIELD


  • The field features eight teams including Boise State, Idaho, Idaho State (host), Montana, Montana State, Southern Utah, Utah State and Weber State. 

  • The field includes six Big Sky teams and two Mountain West members.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT


  • Doubles Format: The tournament will consists of a 26 doubles teams in one bracket. 

  • Singles Format: The singles competition will be broken down into two brackets/draws, a "Orange Flight" and a "Black Flight. The orange draw will have 31 players participants, while the black will feature 22 competitors.
