BOISE, Idaho - Former Boise State men's tennis player Wesley Moodie enjoyed another strong showing at the Wimbledon Championships, June 21-July 4, as he played to a runner-up finish in the mixed doubles tournament at the All England Tennis Club in London, England.

Moodie, who captured the gentlemen's doubles title at Wimbledon in 2005, won his first five mixed doubles matches with teammate Lisa Raymond to advance to this year's title match. Despite a hard fought championship match Moodie and Raymond's run would end, however, with a 6-4, 7-6 (7-5) loss to Leander Paes and Cara Black.

Moodie starred at Boise State during the 1999 and 2000 tennis seasons when he was a two-time NCAA All-American in doubles. His best NCAA tournament finish came in 1999 when he reached the semifinals with teammate Leif Meineke. Moodie was also first team All-Big West Conference in both singles and doubles in 1999 and 2000.
