BOISE, Idaho - Boise State head coach Greg Patton was named the Mountain Region Men's Tennis Coach of the Year, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced Wednesday. The award marks the fourth regional accolade of Patton's career after being named coach of the year in 1994, 1997 and 2004, all in the Mountain Region.

Patton, now in his 16th year at the helm of the Broncos, guided 37th-ranked Boise State to the 2012 MW men's regular-season title, the Mountain West tournament championship, and its 15th overall NCAA tournament appearance. The Broncos finished first in the MW regular-season standings with a perfect 5-0 record in league and a 26-7 overall mark after suffering a first-round defeat to Florida State in the NCAA Tournament.

Earlier this season, Patton was named Mountain West Coach of the Year, the 10th conference honor of his career.
