COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Boise State head coach Greg Patton was named the Mountain West Men's Tennis Coach of the Year, the conference announced Thursday.

Patton, now in his 16th year at the helm of the Broncos, guided 38th-ranked Boise State to the 2012 MW men's regular-season title, the Mountain West tournament championship, and its 15th overall NCAA tournament appearance. The Broncos finished first in the MW regular-season standings with a perfect 5-0 record in league matches and enter the NCAA Championships with a 26-6 overall mark.

This is the 10th conference coach of the year award for Patton, who has earned the honor in the Big Sky, Big West, Western Athletic Conference and now the Mountain West.
