Hume to Compete at NCAA Singles Tournament

INDIANAPOLIS - Boise State senior Damian Hume will compete as one of 64 singles players in the 2012 NCAA Men's Tennis Championships, it was announced Wednesday. Both the men's singles and doubles tournaments will be played at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex in Athens, Ga., May 23-28.

Hume is the 10th player in Boise State history to be selected to compete in the singles tournament, joining the ranks of teammate James Meredith and assistant coach Clancy Shields.

The native of Johannesburg, South Africa went 30-6 this season with a 17-2 dual-match record and owns the highest winning percentage of any Bronco (.833).
