BOISE, Idaho One day after learning they were headed to their fifth consecutive NCAA First and Second Round Championship matches, the No. 25-ranked Boise State men’s tennis team learned they have additional NCAA qualifiers in the singles and doubles competitions for the 2009 NCAA Division I Men’s Tennis Tournament in College Station, Texas.
The Broncos’ No. 24-ranked Clancy Shields will be the team’s sole representative in the singles tournament, while No. 43-ranked Kean Feeder and James Meredith will represent
The NCAA Division I Men’s Tennis Subcommittee selected 64 singles players and 32 doubles teams to compete in the 2009 NCAA Division I Men’s Tennis Championships.
The singles and doubles competition will be conducted May 20-25 at the George P. Mitchell Tennis Center in College Station, Texas, following the conclusion of the team championship (May 14-19).
All matches shall be the best of three sets. Regular scoring and a 12-point tiebreaker at six games all will be used for all matches.
