Men's Tennis Lands Five on All-Conference Teams

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Five Boise State men's tennis players made 2011-12 All-Mountain West Team's, the conference announced Thursday. Andy Bettles, Damian Hume and James Meredith each made the singles team while the teams of Hume/Scott Sears and Meredith/Nathan Sereke made the all-conference doubles team.

Meredith, a senior from Christchurch, New Zealand, picked up the third all-conference honor of his career in both singles and doubles. He has played exclusively at the No. 1 position for the Broncos, tallying a 16-10 record in the spring and a 24-13 overall record.

Fellow senior, Hume put together an impressive 17-2 dual match record including a 5-0 conference season.  The transfer from Collin College made the all-conference team in both doubles and singles during both his seasons at Boise State.

Bettles notched made his first all-conference team with 20-7 mark during the spring of his sophomore campaign. He also finished 5-0 in Mountain West action, playing at the No. 3 slot.

Sears combined with Hume to a 8-4 record and his first all-conference honor. Sereke paired with Meredith for a 15-7 record and his second-consecutive conference doubles team.
