Men's Tennis Jumps to No. 43 in ITA Rankings

BOISE, Idaho - The Boise State men's tennis team used a big win in its season finale at No. 28 University of Arizona to move up five spots to No. 43 in this week's ITA National Team Rankings.

            The Broncos, who improved to 18-10 overall with their 4-3 win over the Wildcats, moved up from No. 48 to No. 43 in the April 20 rankings. Boise State finished the regular season with a 4-2 record in Western Athletic Conference action, which has earned the Broncos a No. 3 seed in next week's WAC tournament.

            The men are led once again in singles by sophomore James Meredith, who enters this week ranked No. 45 nationally. Meredith has played to a 19-5 singles record this spring playing primarily at No. 1 for Boise State.

            The Broncos are out of action this week and will not see the court again until April 30 - May 2 when the men head to Fresno, Calif. for the WAC Championships.
