Patton to be Honored as Intermountain Coach of the Year

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State men’s tennis coach Greg Patton will receive the 2013 United States Professional Tennis Association Intermountain Coach of the Year when the City of Boise and the Idaho Tennis Association welcomes the Davis Cup Tennis to Boise, Tuesday, April 2.

The free public event will run from 6-8pm at CenturyLink Arena in downtown Boise. The evening will include an appearance by members of the U.S.A. Davis Cup Team and will feature games and other tennis activities for kids and teens of all abilities.

Events are free and open to the public. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. CCDC is offering free parking at all six of its garages between 5-10pm. (Visit for garage locations.)

Advance registration for the free kids’ activities is encouraged. Kids ages 5 to 13 can register online at The first 300 registrants will receive a special gift from Let’s Move Boise! and Davis Cup posters will be distributed to the first 500 fans through the doors.

Day-of registration will take place from 5:30 to 6:00 p.m. at CenturyLink Arena (limited space available).
