BOISE, Idaho - Boise State senior Nathan Sereke has been named Mountain West Men's Tennis Player of the Week. It is Sereke's fourth career MW weekly accolade and the fourth for Boise State this spring joining Thomas Tenreiro (2) and Brendan McClain as 2014 honorees.

The senior from Stockholm, Sweden, went a combined 5-0 in singles and doubles play to help guide No. 19 Boise State to a 3-0 record last week in wins over Marquette, Montana and Fresno State.

Playing in the No. 2 singles slot, Sereke secured the match-clinching point in each of his matches. He turned away Marquette's Vukasin Teofanovic in straight sets, 6-2, 7-6 (5), and also topped Fresno State's Sam MacNeil by a 6-3, 6-4 score.

Sereke has won four consecutive matches and is now 11-8 overall in singles on the year. He enters this weekend at 11-6 in duals this spring playing primarily at the No. 2 position.
