BOISE, Idaho - The Boise State men's tennis team travels to Montgomery, Ala. this weekend to face its' biggest challenge of this young season as the Broncos will compete in the Blue Gray Tennis Classic this Thursday-Sunday (March 18-21).
The Blue Gray Classic is an annual 16-team tournament that boasts 13 nationally ranked teams this year. The tournament will be held at the Lagoon Park Tennis Center in Montgomery, Ala.
Here is a list of the teams scheduled to compete in the 2010 Blue Gray Classic: No. 16 Texas Tech, No. 17 Oklahoma, No. 26 Fresno State, No. 33 Arizona, No. 38 Notre Dame, No. 39 Tulsa, No. 44 Penn State, No. 54 Oklahoma State, No. 63 Harvard, No. 66 South Florida, No. 69 William and Mary, No. 71 Boise State, No. 73 VCU, Middle Tennessee State, San Diego State and Furman.

Boise State is coming off another tough weekend on the road in which the Broncos split a pair of duals in San Diego, Calif. Boise State opened the weekend with a 5-2 loss against unranked San Diego State. The Broncos managed to rebound, however, with a 4-3 win over No. 45 San Diego on Sunday.
Boise State in the national rankings...
With a split of their duals last weekend the Broncos dropped five more spots in the March 16 ITA National Rankings to No. 71. After starting the season at No. 22, Boise State has gradually fallen after starting the spring with a 6-5 overall record.
James Meredith continues to be the only Bronco currently ranked individually, as he came in at No. 41 in singles this week. Meredith dropped five spots from No. 36 after losing his only singles match of the weekend at San Diego State.
