San Diego, California - (2/3/07) - The Boise State Broncos, the 17th-ranked team in the nation, remain undefeated on the year with a hard fought 4-3 road win over #42 San Diego Toreros (0-4) moving their record to 5-0 on the season. Boise State swept all three doubles matches to earn the critical match point, and then won two of their three singles matches in three sets.

Boise State’s Luke Shields, ranked #15 nationally, defeated San Diego’s Jonas Mouly at No. 1 singles (1-6, 6-2, 6-2). Piotr Dilaj followed up with a two set win over Chris Coetzee (6-2, 6-3) at the No. 3 position, while Blake Boswell won at the No. 5 singles in three sets over Charl Wolmarans (6-1, 3-6, 6-3) to wrap-up the Broncos four points. San Diego received singles wins from Thomas Liversage at No. 2, Ryo Sekiguchi at No. 4 and Matt Ozurovich at No. 6.

The weekend’s action continues Sunday when the Broncos take on San Diego State, ranked 49th nationally, at noon (MT).
