Dropping two spots from their 2008 fall preseason ranking of No. 35 (ITA rankings), the Broncos boast three nationally ranked singles players entering the season. Senior Clancy Shields leads the way with a No. 22 rank while also holding the No. 1 spot in the Mountain Region singles rankings. Senior Stanley Sarapanich boasts a No. 86 rank in the national polls while sitting at No. 26 in the regional rankings. Finally, senior Kean Feeder ranks No. 91 in the nation while also holding the No. 4 spot in the region.

The Broncos team features four seniors: Clancy Shields, Sarapanich, Feeder and Blane Shields; one junior, Nick Gourley; three sophomores: Joey Coleman, Erik Sheldon and Stefan Simikic; as well as three freshmen: Michael Gilliland, Cristian Hodel and Freddy Walsh.
