BOISE, Idaho - The Boise State men's tennis team will send two players to represent the Broncos in the "Wimbledon of College Tennis", this weekend (Jan. 14-16), with Jeff Mullen and Nathan Sereke set to compete in the 2011 National Collegiate Tennis Classic in Palm Springs, Calif.

The N.C.T.C. will run Friday-Sunday (Jan. 14-16) at the La Quinta Resort & Club. Players from USC, UCLA, Kentucky, Georgia, Pepperdine, Arizona, North Carolina, Texas Tech, Boise State and UC Irvine will compete in the tournament.

Mullen, a sophomore from Reno, Nev. (Washoe County HS), is seeing his first real action of the 2010-11 season after competing in just one tournament for the Broncos during the fall. He was 0-2 in both doubles and singles. Mullen is coming off a strong freshman campaign for Boise State however, in which he finished 16-13 in singles and 22-16 in doubles. He played to first team All-Western Athletic Conference honors with teammate James Meredith.

This weekend will mark the first collegiate action for Sereke who joined the Broncos after the fall semester. He is a freshman from Stockholm, Sweden (SAM Gymnasiet).
