Tinelli Falls in Quarterfinals

BOISE, Idaho - Matteo Tinelli fell in the quarterfinals of the Boise Stat Dar Walters Fall Classic Saturday afternoon. The freshman was the lone Bronco standing on Saturday when he lost in two sets to Gonzaga’s Samuel Feit 6-3, 6-4. Tinelli finished the tournament with a 2-1 singles record.

Tinelli and doubles partner Ryland McDermott competed in the round of 16 where they went down 8-2 to Idaho’s Lucas Coutinho and Esteban Santibanez. Tinelli and McDermott finished the tournament at 1-1 overall in doubles.

The only other Broncos to play on Saturday was freshman Stefan Lalovic who played in the back draw defeating Portland’s Drew Davison in straight sets 6-4, 7-5.
