Heslin Falls at Battle in the Bay

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - Boise State sophomore Jack Heslin led Boise State at the Battle in the Bay Classic at San Francisco by reaching the consolation final on Sunday. Heslin, who was the last Bronco remaining in the tournament, split two matches on the day defeating Iowa’s Kareem Allaf in straight sets 6-4, 6-4 in the consolation semifinals before falling 6-3, 6-4 in the final to Cal Poly’s Corey Pang. The New Zealander went a team-best 4-2 in singles and 2-1 in doubles over the three day tournament, his first competition in a Bronco uniform.
