The loss drops the Broncos to 2-14 overall as the young Broncos continue to look for consistency. Next up is a match against the Michigan Wolverines at Ann Arbor Sunday morning.

Heslin and Butters recorded the lone victory for the blue and orange during doubles competition as they put away the Spartans top team of Jasper Koenen and Michael Dube by a 6-2 score.

Heslin earned the first singles victory on the day dispatching MSU’s Koenen in straight sets 6-2, 6-2 to tie the team score at 1-1.

Wischer actually gave the Broncos the lead not long after Heslin’s win on court two. Wischer defeated Billy Shisler 6-1, 6-4 at No. 6 singles to put Boise State up 2-1.

Unfortunately, the last four singles contests went to the Spartans to claim the victory.
